A Second Dress
Of course, you can always choose to get a second dress for your reception. This can be a more of an expensive choice as a bride, unless you split your dress budget in half. However, this also means you get two opportunities dazzle your partner and guests, you’ll get a larger variety of wedding photos, and most importantly, you get to wear two beautiful dresses!
An Overskirt

Overskirts are a great, more cost-effective way to add something a little extra to your gown for the ceremony and take off for your reception.
A Cape
Similarly to overskirts, capes can be worn at the ceremony for added flare and easily taken off for your reception.

Tulle wings are a modern alternative to the traditional veil. They are perfect for an extravagant walk down the aisle and can be removed when needed!

If you have your heart set out on one dress and don’t like the ideas above, you can always choose to get a sweep train for your dress. As the shortest train length, a sweep train is perfect to add a little something extra to the dress whilst remaining practical to dance the night away at your reception!
